In 2004 a bi-annual Geert Hofstede Lecture in the area of
intercultural communication was established jointly by the
University and the Hanze Hogeschool in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Chair in cultural diversity. In 2008 a group of six European
schools and faculties (in Budapest, Groningen, Leeds, Milano, Sofia
and Vilnius), collaborating in a joint programme in international
communication, has named itself the Geert Hofstede Consortium. |
